To say the truth didn't expect a mind blowing stuff from Battleship - and TADA!!! my prediction came true
Based on the classic Hasbrocombat game, Battleship is the story
of an international fleet of ships who come across an alien/UFO amidst a Naval war games exercise. An intense battle follows over sea,
land and air between the aliens and humans. The rest of the story is about what do they aliens aka 'The Regents' want?
Iam 23 years old and it will be the 25th Hollywood movie that i am watching with alien invasion theme. Films like Independence day still remain in our minds, intact. Battleship is just another addition to the already beaten to death genre. Its actually a mix of Independence day & Transformers, many action sequences looks pretty similar. Dont know what the hell was Rihanna doing in this movie, the Charlize theron look alike Brooklyn Decker also was a waste.
The few positives i found in BS are the stunning graphics [again nothing that we havent seen yet]. The 'Battle ships' fighting it out looked kick-ass. Its not boring. Its fast paced. Worth a summer watch if u have nothing else to do
Verdict: Summer Entertainer, for Alien-Transformers fans
