Sachin Tendulkar's new, dream home in Mumbai

Despite giving a miss to the West Indies tour, Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar has still been busy these days. In fact, he has hardly got time to rest despite being in Mumbai all this while as he prepares to shift from La Mer to his new Perry Cross Road bungalow.

Headlines Today has learnt that not only has some of the heavy furniture from the old apartment been moved to his new bungalow, the interiors of Tendulkar's dream home were also complete.

Though the structure of his new house seems to be of three floors from outside, it actually has five floors. One-and-a-half floors of it are below ground, probably because of height restrictions as the building falls in CRZ II zone.

The lower basement houses car parking and security set up, while the upper basement has the kitchen and the servants' quarters.

The ground floor has a massive sitting and dining area, which would also have a special area to display cricket mementoes and memorabilia.

While the top floor would have Tendulkar and wife Anjali's master bedroom, the children were likely to occupy the first floor.
