Synopsis

The film is based on the real life riot incident and bombings that hit Mumbai on March 12, 1993. The film depicts the effect the incident had on the locals of Mumbai and particularly revolves around the effects of the blasts in the lives of three common men. The story revolves around Sanathana Bhat(Mammootty), a Hindu priest, who later converts to Islam and becomes Sameer, a Municipality worker. He gets married to Abida (Roma), a young Muslim woman from a village in Kerala. Sameer and Abida have premonitions about the bomb blasts, which change the course of their lives forever.
