The film continues from where Fast 5 left off. Hobbs comes to meet Dom, this time not to arrest him but seeking his help in nabbing an international criminal & former Special Forces operative Owen Shaw. Dom who was reluctant at first agrees to the mission when presented with a photo of Letty who was supposedly killed in FF4 [End credits scene in FF5 revealed us that she is alive]. So Dom with his team joins Hobbs in a mission to take down Shaw and know the mystery surrounding Letty and bring he back.

Fast 5 was the best ever movie in the franchise, Fast 6 even though couldn't top that, still is a very much enjoyable fast paced entertainer. Cars, race and high speed chases are the identities of the franchise and the director didn't disappoint us, gave us everything in plenty, but at the cost of logic & sensibility. The Tank scene, initial chase and Jet Plane scene in the climax are the highlights. Kudos to stunt directors and VFX team even though they beat laws of physics many a time.  The script is racy, technical department did a commendable job.

The film offers nothing new. Rock as an antagonist added much to Fast 5 which is missing here. Everything else remains same. Forced humor sadly went overboard & fells flat. Drama scenes seemed bit stretched.

The franchise is moving on like 'SAW' which had 7 parts, each one similar  to one another but with some twist linked to old movies to keep the fan boys interested. Similarly this one also has an end credits scene which ties up the franchise finally to 'Tokyo drift' which was kinda stand alone movie till now. TFTF, 2F2F, FF, FF5, FF6, FFTD, FF7 that's the order in terms of the story line. so FF4-FF6 were prequels to Tokyo Drift. Hope the 7th one will be last one. With that being said the 7th part will be directed by Director of SAW and the film will come out next year in July. And from the credits its sure gonna be awesome and may end up the best one in the franchise and also a possible finale.

Like one character says in the movie - Fast 6 is a Vehicular Warfare !!!

Rating: 3.25/5

Box Office: Smash HIT

Verdict: Leave your brain at home and enjoy this Mass Masala Hollywood Blockbuster  !!!!

NB: Even though Rock might not be a part of the FF7, Jason Statahm fans can rejoice, gear up and very much look forward to its release

Plot

The Expendables, leader Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), blades specialist Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), martial artist Yin Yang (Jet Li), weapons specialist Hale Caesar (Terry Crews), demolitions expert Toll Road (Randy Couture), the unstable Gunner Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), and sniper Billy the Kid (Liam Hemsworth), the group's youngest and newest member, are reunited when Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) enlists them to take on a seemingly simple job. When things go wrong,  when one of their men is murdered on the job, the expendables is all out for revenge. But the enemy that awaited them was no simple deal....

The first part was kinda dumb ass for me, just loads of no-brainier action. Well this time also its the same its presented in a much much better way. The story is same as the first one you have to kill the bad guy and save the world (or whatever).  when emotions don't work, they don't connect with, no matter how brilliant the action sequences are they don't work beyond a point . But this time its told with emotions and told brilliantly, Simon west who took over from Stallone has done a great job. those who didn't like the first part or who haven't seen it yet can watch this and have a blast.

Those who look for logic, story and stuff like better stay at home. Its an out an out action fiesta just like a Mass Masala south Indian movie. "NO LOGIC BUT SHIT LOAD OF MAGIC !!"

The major plus point of the film is the bullet pace screen play which this time has told with conviction and emotion. Also the mind blowing action sequences which has been choreographed beautifully. Just like in the first part they don't time enough to think about logic or loop holes in it, it keeps you hooked through out the run time.

Apart from the action, one thing you expect from the film is the quirky one-lines which are in double dose this time, infact each and every word Statham mouths is a punch line. They are in plenty like the ever green "I am Back" "You have been back, now its my turn" "Your A** will be 'TERMINATED'" etc etc

If none of the above excites you watch it atleast for the stellar star cast. You have got all the world's best bad ass action heroes in a single movie. Jason Statham is as always full on rocking. Stallone and rest of the expendables were good. Jet Li gets only a cameo length role this time. Eventhough for a few scenes its a treat to watch Bruce Willi's & Arnold on screen, especially in the climax sequence. Also got to see Van Damme after a while in a villain role., who gets side lined a bit because its all about heroes.

Remember its an all boys world out there, so all ladies if u don't like BIG GUNS & boys Playing with them don't even bother watching it.

So want to have a blast of a weekend, sit back, dont care about anything, relax kinda a weekend GRAB A TICKET damns soon !!!!

Verdict:  Quit Reading & GO Watch it !!!

Rating 3.5/5

Box Office: Already a hit in US , should be the same in India too
